Current Covid Rules & Precautions

We look forward to welcoming you to our events organised by Grosvenor Shows Ltd. We will operate under the guidance set by the government and Public Health England. We are also implementing some additional measures and we ask everyone in attendance to adhere to our COVID rules and measures outlined below.

1) All attendees must wear a face covering/mask in the venue (unless seated in the restaurant/café), unless exempt for medical reasons.

2) All attendees must agree to NOT attend if they answer YES to any of the following statements

  • You are feeling unwell, including a high temperature, new continuous cough and a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste.
  • You are currently required to isolate following a visit to an area or country where quarantine is required upon return.
  • You have been told to self-isolate by the government Test and Trace service.
  • Someone in your household is suffering with COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive on a lateral flow test or PCR test.

3) Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance and at the sanitising stations located around the exhibition hall.

4) Please do not touch the quilts on display for any reason. White gloves will not be available for health and safety reasons.

5) Aisles will be wider, where possible, to allow for easier flow of visitors.

6) External doors will be open for extra ventilation where possible within the exhibition hall.

7) You must prove your Covid-19 status with a Covid Pass.
We will be operating NHS COVID PASS checks on all visitors aged 18 or over. You must have proof of double vaccination for Covid-19, or have valid proof that you have completed a negative PCR test or a negative lateral flow test within the past 48 hours as a condition of entry to the event. Please download the NHS app, not the NHS COVID Test and Trace app, and login with your details to retrieve your Covid Pass. If you are double-vaccinated your pass will be automatically generated. Once you have registered a negative lateral flow test online or over the phone on 119 you will also be able to generate a Covid Pass on the NHS app. Alternatively, we will accept a valid text or email from NHS Test and Trace as proof you have completed a negative PCR test or negative lateral flow test within the past 48 hours. We strongly advise that lateral flow tests are taken as late as possible before attending the event, ideally within 12 hours, to strengthen the protection testing provides.

If you are unable to use the NHS app, you can obtain an NHS Covid Pass letter as proof of double vaccination by calling 119, but please be aware that it can take some time to receive this.

Whilst it is not mandatory to provide proof of a negative lateral flow test if you are double vaccinated, we highly recommend that you take a lateral flow test before attending the event to protect other visitors.

Visitors who have been vaccinated in another country can show alternative proof of double vaccination if this is accepted at the UK border.

In order to reduce delays on entry, please have your Covid Pass ready (digital passes can be downloaded as a pdf copy or emailed as an offline copy).

Staff at the event will check your Covid-19 status. If you do not meet the requirements, we are legally required to deny you entry to the event.

Please be aware that if there is a high volume of attendees all entering at a fixed time (for example the opening time of the event) we may be conducting spot checks on a certain percentage of attendees until the volume has reduced to manageable levels.
